Cuzco -Saqsaywaman, Cuzco Square, Cathedral and the Monasterio Hotel
Took pics of town from hill above it-then to Saqsaywama, an archeology dig of Inca fortress-foundation shaped like lightning bolt -hiked to top of Inca structure across from main structure-great views including White Christ donated by successful Palestinian silk manufactures in 1945-Nancy sick-Jim took her to hotel-some lunched at home of Cuzco native (Maria)-Mike sick before lunch-bussed back to Monasterio-ML ate someGuinea pig-Maria's husband an art-teacher-met grandson Christian-Janet gave him Baltimore Orioles uniform shirt-ML shopped /women-in evening, Jim, Mike & ML had omelettes at nearby cafe-ML & Mike took a quick evening shopping tour -photographed Cathedral of Cuzco. Up at 4:30AM next morning-Ml sick-took plane to Lima -waited for 3 hrs then flew to Quito-met Tomas who sent ML Gatoraid-Tomas said travelers from Peru always sick-dinner at Marriot-Sat by Tomas who gave good overview of politics in Ecuador
