Galapagos1-flight from Quito via Guaquail to Balta and the Coral II & hike around Dragon Hill

Flight to Balta Is, Galapagos from Quito via Guayaquil-bussed from Balta airport to nearby bay-watched sleeping sea lions while awaiting panga to Coral II-sailed on Coral II to Dragon Hill on N side of Santa Cruz-rough dry landing-light green lagoon-saw first sea Iguanas crawling in sand-and saw Bahama ducks,
Flamingoes in shallow shoreside pond-Flamingoes are filter feeders-red dry rough volcanic rock ground-Prickly Pear evolved a tree trunk with thorny trunk to ward off Land Iguanas-the latter recovering from over-hunting, grazing on island-saw Incense Tree used in Mass-orange-red-brown breeding colors on male Land Iguanas which are 3-4 times larger than Sea Iguanas-live in burrows-eat prickly pear pads (beaver tails)-saw Hooded Mocking bird-almost tame-and is carniverous-back to boat & cocktails w/Captain-dinner w/Marilyn, Jack, Roger, Lenore
